CALVIA.COM FACILITATES THE ACCESS TO THE MUNICIPAL WEB OF PEOPLE WITH DIFFERENT CAPACITIES
The new navigation system with InSuite platform has been presented in the table of accessibility
Calvià Town Hall has launched a new municipal website and has incorporated a new accessibility system which, in a simple manner, increases in number of solutions so that people with different disabilities can access all the webpage's information and services.
The system, called InSuit, allows:
The web to read to the user the content and the available options, thus allowing the access to the contents and navigation without needing to see the screen.
The user to navigate emitting any type of sound, without using hands or vocalising commands.
People with reduced vision to have an optimised navigation with clean texts that allow to adjust the size and the combination of contrast and colour.
The user to speak to the web to navigate through simple commands, without using the hands.
To navigate through the keyboard without using the mouse through buttons and highlights that focus the user, thus simplifying and helping navigation.
The user to use his own navigation aid device, with the powerful improvements of accessibility and usability added by the programme.
