CHRISTMAS FESTIVITIES IN CALVIÀ
Calvià Town Hall has prepared a series of activities so that the calvianers and calvianeres can enjoy these Christmas holidays with the whole family. On the one hand, the Neula Parc playground, which will be installed one more year in the Galatzó pavilion, will open its doors for the children to have fun playing and participating in all kinds of activities. On the other hand, Son Ferrer will again be the central place of the municipality to receive the new year with a fun New Year's Eve party. Finally, the arrival of The Three Kings will take place in the Great Cavalcade that will take place in Palmanova.
Neula Parc
Neula Parc is a place for families to have fun with a variety of games and children's activities during the last days of the year. The event will take place in the Galatzó Pavilion and will have children's workshops, crafts, performances, storytelling, games, attractions and many surprises. Neula Parc opens on Friday 27th December, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.; and on Saturday 28, Sunday 29 and Monday 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The activity has a symbolic entry price of 6€ for families from 4 to 7 people, or 2€ for individuals. The collection will go to the social entities Sonrisa Médica and Asociación Asperger Baleares.
Last Night party
On 28th December, the Youth Department of Calvià organises a party at the Son Ferrer marquee, which will be located at Ocell del Paradís street, next to the school, where there will be music, dance and the New Year Eve's pre-strokes. The party will start at 8 p.m. and is suitable for young people from 12 to 30 years old.
8th Hidrobal San Silvestre Calvianera 2019
The fun race of the year comes to Calvià. Leave 2019 behind running the VIII Hidrobal San Silvestre Calvianera. Enjoy a fast 6.7 km circuit Magaluf and Palmanova streets and the best refreshments when you reach the finish line. The meeting point will be at the Magaluf athletics track from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The registration fee is € 6. Dress up and take part with your friends in the costume contest. 31st December is sport in Calvià.
New Year's Eve party
Calvià citizens will be able to eat the traditional New Year's Eve grapes and receive the new year in the Son Ferrer heated marquee, at Ocell del Paradís street, starting at 11.30 p.m. On 31st December. Admission is free and strokes, grapes, cotillion, a glass of cava and DJ with music from the 80s, 90s and current will not be missing. To end the party, there will be chocolate with ensaimada. The party will also have a bar service with popular prices.
Great Three Kings Cavalcade
One more year, Calvià will celebrate a great unified Kings Parade full of magic, colour and illusion in which groups and floats of associations and companies of the municipality will participate. The Three Kings, Melchior, Caspar and Balthazar, will disembark at the Palmanova Yacht Club. There, they will begin a tour along the Passeig de la Mar until they reach the square at the confluence with Duc d'Extremera street. The Three Kings will greet the children, and there will be a stage with children's entertainment.
