CALVIÀ CELEBRATES THE VIRTUAL CARNIVAL 2021 WITH TWO ACTIVITIES:
Mask workshop
You can participate with the carnival mask made with the Calvià Libraries workshop and win a tablet.
Anyone can participate, no matter the age.
To participate, send the photos to biblioteques@calvia.com between 10th and 17th February.
The winner will be announced on Saturday 20th February on the Biblioteques Calvià facebook, live at 11 a.m.

Costume contest
Calvià celebrates an online Carnival this year with a costume contest from home.
Registrations and the sending of photos can be done from 11th to 17th February.

There will be 3 categories:
1. Individual and couples. They can be one or two cohabiting participants, regardless whether they are minors or adults. In the case of couples, participation with a pet is allowed.
2. Families. Category intended for the participation of three or more cohabitants. Pets are included as members of the family.
3. Exclusive (pets). In this category, only pets can participate individually, in a duo or group, as long as they are part of the same family unit.
The prizes are as follows:
FIRST PRIZES
Individual and couple category: 150€
Family category: 300€
Pets category: 100€
SECOND PRIZES
Individual and couple category: 75€
Family category: 200€
Pets category: 50€
THIRD PRIZES
Individual and couple category: 35€
Family category: 100€
Pets category: 25€
There will be a SPECIAL PRIZE: The best recycled costume and the best makeup will be chosen, each with a prize of 100€, amongst all the participants in all categories.
A jury, made up of three people from the municipality related to art, performance or entertainment, will be in charge of choosing the contest winners.
It is important that the proposal is original, innovative and creative. Both, the photography staging and the costume making will be valued.
