XXII Sheep and Goat Fair of Calvià
The awards ceremony for the males and Majorcan breed sheep morphological contests took place on Sunday. The awards were presented by the mayor of Calvià, Alfonso Rodríguez Badal; the councillor for the Environment, Rafel Sedano; the councillor of Calvià village, M. Carmen Rojano; the president of the Consell de Mallorca, Catalina Cladera, and the Regional Government's general director of Agriculture, Fernando Fernández, with the attendance of other members of the municipal government team and other authorities, such as the Regional Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Mae de la Concha.
The awardees are as follows:
Son Vich Nou, best Majorcan sheep
Son Alfonso, best Majorcan yard
Son Llach, best yard presentation
Ses Quarterades, best goat
Can Seguina, best red sheep yard
