ES CAPDELLÀ ANNOUNCES A VARIED PROGRAMME FOR THE FIRA DE LES FEINES DE TARDOR FAIR 2023
The events that revolve around the primary sector and municipal traditions will take place on 11th and 12th November
Es Capdellà holds the VII Fira de les Feines de Tardor fair on 11th and 12th November, that allows us to remember or discover the most traditional aspects and the activity carried out by the primary sector. Es Capdellà village announces this year a varied and exciting programme for its Fair on the works of the autumn season 2023. This event, which every year is a must-see event for the local community and visitors, promises entertainment and activities for all tastes and ages.
Es Capdellà 'Fira de les Feines de Tardor' Fair, based on traditional trades, is fully consolidated with this seventh edition. The activities carried out attract a large number of people and the vast majority of the activities have the involvement of the village's people. Some of the proposals are even self-managed by the capdellaners themselves, although they are mostly carried out between entities of this traditional area with the collaboration of Calvià Town Hall.

Saturday, 11th November
9 a.m. Craft and agri-food market opening, animals and old motorcycles exhibition
10 a.m. Children's workshop Les Miquestècniques in sa Vinya square
12 noon Superflex street show on C/ Església
2 p.m. Popular meal of loin with cabbage in sa Vinya square
3 p.m. VI Es Capdellà Sheepdog Competition at Son Durí estate (Associació de Concursos de Cans Pastors de les Illes Balears)
4 p.m. Family entertainment with Kcodril in sa Vinya square
5:30 p.m. Children's entertainment with Astronautes Estrellats in sa Vinya square
7:30 p.m. Popular Barbecue at sa Vinya square (AMPA CEIP Galatzó)
9:30 p.m. Musical performance by Bosc in sa Vinya square
11 p.m. Bita Mayans DJ in sa Vinya square
Sunday, 12th November
9 a.m. Craft and agri-food market, animals and old motorcycles exhibition
9 a.m. “Tot paper” exhibition. Solidaris des Capdellà at C/Major, nº 22-24
10 a.m. Sa Ludoteca d'en David in Plaza Joana Nogués for the little ones
11 a.m. Parade of Geganters and Xeremiers de Calvià on C/Major and C/Església
2 p.m. Popular meal of sopas mallorquinas (Mallorcan soup) in sa Vinya square (AMPA CEIP Galatzó)
4 p.m. Stromboli circus show in sa Vinya square
6 p.m. Popular dance with Arreu
Other activities around the Fair
The Fair is not limited to 11th and 12th November, since a series of events have been scheduled that seek the participation of capdallaners and visitors:
Tuesday, 31st October, 5 p.m. Halloween night with musical performances in sa Vinya square. We celebrate Halloween in a unique way in es Capdellà with exciting musical performances. The CEIP Galatzó AMPA will offer a terrifyingly fun night for all ages.
Saturday, 4th November, 7 p.m. Charity gala 2023 in favour of Nemo Foundation in sa Vinya square. An extraordinary evening with dinner, raffle and musical shows. The funds raised will go to Nemo Foundation through Es Capdellà Sonríe y Ayuda association.
Thursday, 9th November, 7-8 p.m. Meeting with the rural world at the Casal de Cultura in Es Capdellà. An opportunity to connect with the rural roots of our community and learn more about country life.
Friday, 10th November. Local products' exhibition
4 p.m., exhibition's entry of animals (C/Ametlers and C/Església)
6 p.m., tasting of quality local products (Casal de Gent Gran des Capdellà).
