14 SCHOLARSHIP HOLDERS JOIN THE CALVIÀ TOWN HALL UNTIL SEPTEMBER 2024
The IMEB is committed to Projecta't scholarships to offer a paid training alternative to the municipality's young people
14 young people have started their 10-month period of paid internships at Calvià Town Hall. The Projecta't scholarship is the internship scholarship programme aimed at recent university degree or training cycle graduates. It is possible thanks to BECA, the initiative of the IMEB (Municipal Institute of Education and Libraries).
The students were welcomed this Monday at the Town Hall by mayor Juan Antonio Amengual and the deputy mayor responsible for education, Isabel Bonet. On this first day they were informed of the details of their incorporation and have received training in occupational risk prevention.
Amongst the scholarship holders are students of Marketing, Law, Philology or Psychology. They will develop their work and learning in municipal areas such as Equality, Culture, Heritage, the Llar de Majors (Senior Citizens' Home), or Protocol, to name a few. The scholarship period extends until September 2024 and each of them will receive 855 gross euros monthly.
